Give your child a fun week of hands-on gardening! Campers will grow food, explore nature, harvest fresh produce, prepare simple recipes, and discover where food comes from through engaging outdoor activities. Along the way, theyβll build confidence, make new friends, and learn how gardens help create healthier communities.
Perfect for homeschool students in grades 3β8. No gardening experience needed! Parents are highly encouraged to participate as well.
What to Expect
We will be outdoors in a community garden space in New Haven. Each day campers will enjoy hands-on activities such as:

$150 per camper
Your childβs registration includes five days of hands-on gardening, food justice education, cooking activities, all program materials, and a take-home garden project. Campers will gain practical skills, confidence, and a deeper connection to food, health, and the environment.

Camp concludes at 12:00 PM each day. Campers will be dismissed for lunch and should bring their own packed lunch if they plan to eat immediately after pickup.
